I will be going to a conference there at the end of April (at the Convention Center) and wondered if there are some places of interest where I don’t have to drive.

you can go to the muesuem and shop
the philosopher’s stone tavern is a great place for lunch dinner or cocktails it is located in the 1900 block of east 7th street
